We welcome all parents, grandparents, family members to join Orange Grove Elementary PTA. You support helps improves the learning environment and strengthens the connection between home and school. Our focus is to provide opportunities for parents and teachers to work together to support the education & social well being of our students…..NOT just fundraising! It is our goal to build the kind of community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and a part of the “team.” Together, we can make a difference.
What is the OGE PTA?
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of people working together to enrich the students' educational experience. We sponsor activities and events that help enhance and expand our students' experience beyond the classroom. We promote communication between teachers, administrators, and parents.
Am I expected to volunteer?
The opportunities that we provide for the students cannot take place without volunteers. We encourage you to become involved, but it is not mandatory. We have a variety of ways you can volunteer from small tasks to large ones. We understand that not everyone may be in a position to volunteer. We want to stress that we appreciate your input and ideas, whether you can volunteer or not. Volunteer Form
How do I stay up to date with PTA?
There are several ways for you to stay up to date with PTA events, programs, and important information. You can receive the information from our website, newsletter, Facebook page or Instagram. You can also find the information in Sunday emails from the principal.
Do you I have to attend PTA events?
While you encourage you to attend the events and meeting you are required to do so.
How much is it to join?
It's $5.00 to join for the year. Plus you receive discounts for being a member through the National PTA.
Where can one join PTA?
1. You can sign up for the PTA through the varies events we hold.
