Registration is not required but encouraged so they can get a head count for breakfast. It will start at 7:45am in the cafeteria.
Attn: Parents as a reminder please send in the cards that were attached to your students fundraiser paperwork that went home last week. Every time they reach a certain quantity of items sold they will get one of these Geckos.
Did everyone have a great time at our trunk or treat? We sure did.
We hope that all the families had a fun filled evening with dressing up in their costumes (parents to), food, games, and crafts. We want to congratulate our winners for the scariest, silliest, and fan favorite of trunks. Everyone did an amazing job in decorating their trunks. Here's a few pictures from that night. If you would like to share some please comment below, maybe it will even end up in the yearbook.
We would like to thank our volunteers. Without the volunteers we can't do events like this. So thank you to the volunteers who came out to setup, direct cars, cook, assist with crafts, and those that stayed to help clean up. To the volunteers that helped with admission, food, and spirit wear. Everything you do is much appreciated. Thank you to Kona Ice for coming out and helping to cool us down. To the people who participated in the trunks and Dr.Porter for allowing us to do the event.
last call for Box Tops. Please bring in your cut box tops with your student by the end of the week. The funds that are collected from the box tops go back into the school to help fund programs for the students.

The second round of ordering is CURRENTLY open! It will close THIS FRIDAY (10/4/19) evening so get those orders in!!

Flyers for our Trunk or Treat will be coming home this week, please keep an eye out for them. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the event. As you know there are a lot of moving parts when organizing an event and the more people we have the smoother it will go. If you are interested in volunteering that day I have provided a link below that you can sign up for a shift of your choosing. I try to keep the time slots short so that you can also enjoy the event with your family. If you have any questions please let us know.
Join us in our first trunk or treat event.
We are excited this year to organize a trunk or treat for our OGE families and the local community. Due to the construction we are unable to hold our Fall Carnival but we didn't want to skip out of some Fall fun so instead of a carnival we bring you a trunk or treat. Not only will the kids be able to go trick or treating in the bus circle but we will be providing games and crafts for FREE. We will also have a concession table selling hot dogs, water, and cookies. Admission is $2.00 a person or you can participate for $15 and it includes the candy and admission for up to 4 family members.
Please keep a look out for the flyer to go home with your student.
We are asking families to "feed our monster" by donating unopened bags of candy. If your student brings in a bag of candy they will receive a pass to "sit with a friend" of their choice in the cafeteria at their scheduled lunch period. This will start October 1st - October 11th. Just return the candy donation slip that will be going home with your student and the bag of candy so we know who to give the pass to.
Would you like to participate? We would love for you to but we have a limited amount of space so please fill out your registration form with your $15 and return with your student so we can get you registered. It's on a first come first serve basis. Your $15 includes the candy to give out and admission for up to 4 family members.
If you know someone else or a business that would be interested please pass on the information. We would love the local community to be part of this event.
