Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week is May 4th - 8th. This is a special week set aside to show our appreciation to the 48 amazing Orange Grove teachers and staff that work so incredibly hard to make our school the best. The OGE PTA wants to make this week extra special by doing some extra special things for our teachers and staff. In order to make this week successful we are in need of your help! On Thursday, May 7th, the PTA will holding a teacher/staff appreciation luncheon and raffle. the luncheon will be potluck style. you can help by making a special dish or you can make a donation towards purchasing food (any amount would be appreciated). The PTA is also looking for items to raffle as prizes. If you have a service to donate or own/work for a business that would like to donate, please contact Kadie Flye (727) 397-6939 or Carrie Henderson (850) 803-7195. Items such as gift cards or items for themed baskets (i.e. UF, FSU, USF, wine, Rays gardening, vacation/Summer, chocolate lovers, coffee lovers, etc.) all make great raffle prizes as well. Students and families can also show your teachers and staff appreciation in the following fun ways:
Monday - Make a handmade "Thank You" card for your teacher
Tuesday - Wear your teacher's favorite color
Wednesday - Write a poem or special note for your teacher
Thursday - bring a flower or apple to your teacher
Friday - make a homemade gift for your teacher
