We would like to thank The Haus Coffee Shop for their donation of delicious coffee and hot chocolate for last nights PTA meeting. Last night we had our last general PTA meeting for 2014 and we talked about upcoming event for 2015 and ways your child can read over the holiday break. Some things that were mentioned is to enjoy the holidays and read holiday related books together, whether you read to your child or your child reads to you. Visit your local library. With the break coming up the libraries have different events for children of all ages and while you are there pick up a book or two.
For those that are traveling make a game of reading, your children won't event know. Have your child read the road signs, maps and/or brochures.
We also talked about Istation. You may have heard about it from your child. This is a individualized reading instruction through the use of the computer.
